Carib Cement Operations
Since then, the company has experienced substantial growth, with the plant capacity increasing to 200,000 tonnesĀ in 1956, 400,000 tonnes in 1964, and 600,000 tonnes in 1983. Between 2008 - 2009, as a result of extensive plant expansion and modernisation, (the commissioning of Kiln 5 and Mill 5), the company's cement and clinker manufacturing capacities are now 1.8 million and 1.3 million respectively.
