Prior to assuming the role of Director Operatioins at Carib Cement in February 2020, Miguel Roberto Estrada Sanchez was the TCL Group Operations Manager since 2015. He began his career at CEMEX Colombia and has had a strong professional track record of more than  30 years in the cement industry, specifically in the area of plant operations. 

He has held senior positions in CEMEX opperations worldwide including: Optimisation Director at CEMEX South America; Vice President of Operations at CEMEX Philippines and Vice President of Operations at CEMEX Egypt. As Optimisation Director for CEMEX South America, Mr Estrada provided technical assistance to CEMEX plants across the region. While based in the Philippines, he also responsibility for CEMEX Bangladesh and CEMEX Thailand. In Egypt he oversaw the largest production unit of any plant in CEMEX worldwide.

Mr. Estrada is a trained  engineer and a graduate of the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira in Colombia.
